$75. The wheelchair base fare. Add $3 a mile once we know the trip.Miles are measured door to door, by road — the route a driver would actually take, not a straight line. Fares round to the nearest dollar, and everything that can move one is listed below.
The meter prices the ordinary trip.
One pickup, one drop-off, an ordinary day. Four things move a fare off that, and all four are printed — none of them is found out afterwards.
- Holidays add 50% to the fare. We drive on all of them.
- Weekends and after hours add 25% — that is Saturday, Sunday, and any ride outside 7am–7pm daily. A holiday that lands on a weekend takes the 50% only, never both.
- Extra stops are agreed and priced before the ride begins, so the meter will not guess at one.
- Up to 3 riders come with you at no charge — the figure on screen already covers them.
- Cancelling under an hour before pickup is 10% of the fare. Earlier than that, nothing.

Is the figure on this page a real quote?Yes — the same formula.
The meter runs the arithmetic the dispatcher runs: $75 base and $3 a mile in the chair, $50 and $2.50 if you walk, or $100 an hour when the driver waits. Miles past the first 15 add $1 each, and that is in the figure too. Nothing is averaged and no range is hidden behind it. We confirm the figure on the call and read it back before anything is held.
Where do the miles come from? The road, not a line.
The distance is the driving route between your two addresses — the way a driver would actually go, door to door, not a straight line across the map. That is why the figure moves when you change a street rather than only when you change a city.
What happens to the addresses I type?Measured, then dropped.
They go to our mapping provider to measure the drive and come back as a distance. Nothing is stored, no account is made, and no dispatcher sees a thing until you pick up the phone and tell us yourself.
Can I put the miles in myself?Yes, one tap away.
“Know the miles? Enter them yourself” is on the form at all times, not hidden behind a menu. If you already know the trip, type the number and the fare follows it — and check ours against yours while you are there.
Does it price the ride home too?Choose “there and back”.
The trip shape is one of the questions. There and back charges the mileage twice, because the van drives the distance twice — but the base fare only once, for the day. If the driver should stay for the appointment instead, choose “we wait” and the meter prices the hours rather than the miles.
Why won't it quote an extra stop?It can't know the stop.
A pharmacy on the way home is fine and it is priced before the ride begins, not added to the bill afterwards — but what it costs depends on where it is and how long it takes. The dispatcher settles that in about a minute on the phone.
Does the meter know it's a holiday? No. Add half again.
Holidays add 50% to the fare, and weekends or anything outside 7am–7pm daily add 25% — never both at once, and the meter deliberately models neither. It prices the ordinary weekday trip everybody else is taking. Both adjustments are worked out in full on the rate card.
What can change this priceIt can't find my address. Now what?Type the miles instead.
Rural routes, brand-new construction and some clinic campuses come back blank. Enter the mileage yourself and the fare is exact again — or call 763-230-9277 and we will measure it with you while you are on the line.
Read a figure you like? Tell us the two addresses and the time.
We will quote the same fare on the call, hold the slot, and read it back to you before we hang up. 763-230-9277, seven days.
Have these ready
- The pickup address, and the clinic or building you are going to.
- The date and the appointment time.
- Wheelchair or ambulatory, and whether the chair is yours.
- Whether the driver should wait, or come back for you later.
